On the holy occasion of Brahmaswarup Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s birth centenary celebrations, several programs have been planned with divine inspiration from Pragat Brahmaswarup Mahant Swami Maharaj. One such program is the 99th birth anniversary festival of Brahmaswarup Pramukh Swami Maharaj.
All devotees and well-wishers will therefore be able to offer their gurubhakti and feel blessed by engaging themselves in Brahmaswarup Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s centenary festival, under the divine guidance of Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj.
The centennial year celebrations of Param Pujya Pramukh Swami Maharaj – through the years 2021 and 2022 – will begin on his birth anniversary next year, in December 2021 at his birthplace Chansad-Vadodara. These celebrations will conclude in a splendid manner in December 2022 in magnificient celebrations at Ahmedabad.
On the occasion of President Swami Maharaj Shatabdi Mahotsav, according to Brahma Vihari Swami, a total of more than 40,000 volunteers will join the 34-day Mahotsav.
According to the latest media reports, at least 5 million people will benefit from this President Swami Maharaj Shatabdi Mahotsav! And Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj, the head of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, says that such a festival will be like “Na Bhuto Na Bhavisyhati”, meaning that the birth centenary of no man in the world has been celebrated in such a way that the centenary of Pramukhswami Maharaj will be celebrated!
Swaminarayan Nagar will be formed on this auspicious occasion. There will be many spectacular attractions like magnificent artistic gates, temples, various scenic spots of devotees, exhibitions etc. Various programs will be held every evening in the meeting hall of Shatabdi Mahotsav.
Pramukh Swami Maharaj Shatabdi Mahotsav Dates and Timing
As per the wish of His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha is pleased to announce that the joyous celebrations for the Pramukh Swami Maharaj Shatabdi Mahotsav will be held from Thursday, 15 December 2022 to Friday, 13 January 2023 in Ahmedabad.
According to the information received from BAPS, this Shatabdi Mahotsav will last for 34 days. Which will start on Kartak Sud V (fifth benefit) and will end on Magsar Sud VIII.
